Stepped in a good nice pile of Eastern birdseye maple a while back. Very clean, all white no brownish greyish heart in almost the entire pile of lumber, which is unusual. What little heartwood there was I sawed away, leaving these fantastic sets ranging in price according to the intensity of the eyes and figure. It was tricky to get all the grain activity to show in the pics, while capturing accurate color, so these are more active than they look. The really active plates speak for themselves, the less active ones are priced accordingly but like I said are typically more active than they look. If you would like some close up pics of a particular set you might be interested in, please do not hesitate to send me an email. Great wood!
