Some unusual very very fine figure on these, strength is moderate, but its extremely tight and riddled into the straight grain like a tightly woven fabric. It was hard to get all the figure to show up in the pics, but these are unlike any sets I've milled before in terms of the very fine quality to the figure. Check out my guitar binding page for a close up of the material, as I also ran some binding from these slabs. This is excellent, mature grained material on a cellular level, very nice to work with and unimaginable when polished!
